3/21 night in the back in the OC area. First bridge was holding a lot of fish, had a fat 32" that weighed `14 lb within 45 minutes of fishing. Tide slowed and turned and the bite slowed way down, even after it started moving out again. Moved to another bridge and got a couple 24 and 26" fish. Broke one off that I think was around 30. I was in tight pilings and the fish immediately ran at my rudder, got tangled for a second, ran to the left, around the bow, then peeled off a bunch of line as he went under the bridge behind me on the right side. Not really much I could do about it at that point and I broke the fish off.
All on soft plastics.
