Yakman certainly took a beating this weekend. So much so that I almost felt bad, almost. Laughing

With Mullet Miller as my witness, this is a picture that I took as I closed my cell. Yakman had called to
tell me that he was on his way to Cape May on Thursday. I had to pull over to get this shot. You can't
argue this one my man!!!

PostSubject: The curse of the banana   Mon Oct 18, 2010 1:55 pm

The curse of the banana

As the legend goes (I believe), it's said that bringing a banana onto a ship years ago also brought spiders and other nastiness.
Somehow, that has translated into bringing banana's onto a charter or party boat as a bad luck omen. With that in mind, our
close friend and serious jinx, Yakman, was forever embedded into the memories of everyone that camped with us at Lake Laurie
on Saturday morning. Everyone woke up to find an Al Stillman banana attached to our kayaks. Everyone in the campground.

This took a lot of prep and creativity. My hat off to whoever thought of it. It looks like we'll never know.

I got the triple whammy!

Mike walking over to ask us "What the hell is this" after he awoke to find his.

Jose got it too on the other side of the campground!

LUNCHBOX's lunchbox?

Yakman wasn't spared

Somehow one of these bananas also made it on my kayak seat while my kayak was hijacked. Yep, I sat right down
on it. Can't explain that experience here on the forum, but it was funny as hell!
