| Planning to fish hard this weekend, weather permitting. Many reports of BIG bass from Holgate to Del Bay.
I'd like to put a trip together for Hereford or Cape May inlets one day and maybe head north another. Any idea or takers? | |

| Tides are good for launching in either inlet and heading out front. We have until 1pm to get out there. I'll most likely start fishing the bridges around 4 am and we can all meet up and head out front as we can all make it.
Tides for Cape May Harbor starting with November 5, 2010.

| I have definitely been a weather jinx all fall! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I'm spooling a reel with mono now for the fishies that like to swim around the concrete and steel. A buddy shared a spot with me that I'm hoping to check out tonight if the rain lets up a bit. | |

| Couldn't sleep so I ran to the spot for a couple of casts. No rain gear because the rain was done. (Until I got out of the truck) I saw a guy with his damn headlamp on walking through the shadows. (UGH!!!!) I had to go to spot 2 and hope that there weren't any goofballs spooking fish there too. Luckily there wasn't and Herring and Bass were rolling all over. I took one cast to straighten out my line (new line) and then I saw a few of shorts with a couple of bruisers mixed in hanging in the shadows. I took a cast and caught a mid-size fish from that pod. A 34" that wanted my bucktail. This test was important as I needed to make sure the fish were there before taking Yakman tomorrow. Now I can measure his jinx factor. These fish stay here until XMas. Sometimes longer. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
