Got out with the Mud Ducks guys...Jim and Jim-2 on the Midnight tide...one 20" Weakfish and one 22" Bass ...pnk Hogie. Was Jim -2 's first ride on his new Outback. Jim-2 handled himself so well I had no idea it was his first pedal drive until we got back to the launch against an outgiong tide and the west wind...his knees were feeling it. I wish i'da known before we went that far with the tide. GOt to respect your legs in this game.
I thought the first fish was another short Bass until I grabbed the leader and swung her in the air...by the time I saw spots and buck teeth it was to late and the hook pulled....duh ...at least I saw a weakfish this year

Nice report Bob! Glad you got on a few. We stayed right here near my house and didn't travel due to the wind. We could see weakies and bass everywhere, but they didn't want anything we offered.

I fished out front today. 5:00am till noon... Bunker pods all over....no predators.....bottom paved with 12" weakfish and snapper blues. Covered 11.9 miles, dragging live bunker...no hits... I stopped and jigged when I had good marks.....weakfish or snappers on every drop...WT 63 -67 could see shells on the bottom in 12 feet. took pictures of and Ocean Sunfish( Mola Mola) Was sweating by 10 Am...Scattered reports of bass.
