Got out around 5:00 AM sat and fished the bridges in the Manasquan. No bass, no blues. The tide slowed just before sunrise, so I switched over to Tog. Once I found the right pilings, it was drop and reel! A keeper size class fish for every 3rd or 4th short. Next day figured why get up early to chase bass that were absent, slept in, got out to target Tog around 7:00 AM. On way out saw bass busting what looked like 5" peanuts. Rush to put on a spook, first cast into the froth, keeper bass. The fish were in small fast moving groups that I chased for about 30 minutes. several hits, a few more hooked up and lost. Went back to the 'hot' piling from the day earlier. Fish on immediately. swung and missed on TNTC, but still landed a bunch. Went through the crabs fast. Mon morning got lucky with the bass again, a small school surfacing within casting range twice. One went 33". Tog'd for an hour, most were smaller until I had to leave, then I got 2 KW fish. Just incredible Tog'n, and the bass are getting bigger. FINALLY!
