Tog season getting shortened

I just started fishing for these ugly little bastages & now the season gets shorteded! WTF??!!??

Figures they would do something like that. If they keep changing all the regs on fishing no one will be able to but 1 type of fish a month

Just blows they wont regulate the commercial fish pots on this species. They send some tonnage to china man. Politicians always attack the angler.

The crap part is in NJ you're not supposed to target closed season fish. Many states require only that you release out of season fish. A loss of that chunk of season in sept/oct is killer to kayak anglers. Thats when the quality fish show inshore. It's near criminal that the lobby whores refuse to sign the 'pots off the reef' bill every year. When will the legislators acknowledge that the recreational anglers are at least as important to the economy as the commercial guys?Probably when we give them piles of cash. I'm sick of it.
