Hot and sunny and a good wind! Went out with my father for fluke and landed about 2 dozen, including two keepers. One was 18" and one was 20". Also got one bluefish. Didn't see a lot of bait but I wasn't really looking. Caught them on squid and sea robin belly with a bucktail.

Sounds like a full day. Things have been pretty quite around Cape May for fluke. Maybe the mullet run will bring some bigger fish in the fall???

Jim it was nice to meet you at the Elks tourney. Let me know how that Rescue Ladder works for you.

Maybe I'll see you at the Forked River Tourney in a few weeks.
