Handheld waterproof/floating VHF with weather alert , and typical options. help

Any one have favorite that will not break the wallet?

I have the Cobra HH475. It cost me about 150 bucks but it has bluetooth so I can tap my phone into it and get calls on the water while my phone is nice and dry below deck...

I dont need a new radio but the bluetooth is tempting to me can you tell me how it works

The bluetooth paired up very easily with my cell phone and it works great. You can even add a few different ring tone's (or signals). I've gotten it wet blasting thru some waves about a week ago and it seems fine. (it also has a "burp" feature to get water out of the speaker if need be). I haven't completely dunked it under water yet though.
I've only had it for about a month now, so far-so good...

Yes, the phone calls sound pretty clear on it so far. No complaints...
