I'm re-rigging the outback with an over the shoulder cam. I plan to aim a bit to port to cover as much of the action as I can. It'll activate via remote on my PFD. I played around with this a bit last year and ended up with a few cool vids. Some crap too!
I plan to keep a video log of our outings. It's part of a larger project that I am taking on this year. I'll post anything good or funny here.

Hey SJ fish , I just finished up a cheap style mount I made out of 1/2" pvc with threaded female end glue in and drill a 1/4" hole for 1/4-20ss bolt with locknut in a male threaded plug. Then that installed into my scotty rod holder over my port side also. The camera I got can do 60 min clips or pics but after putting it on it was angled a bit. Had a brain fart and then got my heat gun to bend the PVC to correct angle. It worked out nice and gave me thoughts of other projects shaping pvc to what you need. Might get out Monday or Tuesday to try it out hopefully getting something to enter for our kayak wars stuff.
