Everyone will receive the following via email Wed, Oct 22. It is just a run down of a few things that everyone should know. You will also receive addresses, maps, and any important last minute information. Thank you all for your help and support this year.

To all participants,
First, thank you all for pre-registering for this year’s event. We are at the 75 participant mark with several more walk-ins expected. Yes, walk-ins will be accepted up until the 6pm Captains Meeting on Friday the 24th. Thank you all for stepping up for the NJ Chapter of Heroes on the Water!

I want it to be perfectly clear, if you do not register for the Calcutta’s by the end of the Captains Meeting, you will not be able to enter any fish. The Jamboree does not have a tournament. The Calcutta determines the prize monies.

You can enter the Calcutta in two ways;
You can simply email me letting me know which category you would like to enter into. Your word is good enough here. We will collect the fees from you later. Each Calcutta is $5.00 and is 100% payback. (Whatever is in the box is yours)

You can also register for the Calcutta at the Capt Meeting and pay the fee. Please bring $5 bill for each.

Calcutta Categories for this year are;
Bluefish, Tautog, Weakfish and Striped Bass. You may enter one or all categories. (Sadly, Redfish have been absent this year)

Most information can be found at our forum;

Raffles; because we have so many raffles this year, we WILL be able to accept credit cards at the event.

We have some fantastic raffles this year; Eddyline Caribbean 14’ with a camo wrap (one of only 3 ever created), Native Slayer Propel 13, Elie Gulf Angler 120XE, Bending Branches paddles, Werner paddles, Swift paddles, Penn Battle reels and tons of loose donations!!!!!

The attached Google Earth KMZ file will not only get you to all of the local stores and shops, but it will also show you all of the hot spots for fishing. Click on any icon for more info when available. The other two reference maps have been sent for you to print if you like. This info is current and accurate. No other event lays the hot spots for its participants. You are all now on even playing ground with any locals that may be competing.

Good luck to you all!!! Be safe, buddy up, and have a great time!!!
