| The tides are perfect for being spit out the inlet and being brought back in again. There are way too many big bass being caught off of the beaches to not make a go of it. I'll be launching at sunrise Thursday and Friday. The weekend is up in the air as I am waiting for the wind to shift to head back out into the Delaware for Drum.

| Foggy as hell at my sunrise launch, but burned off late morning to a nice afternoon. I went out front via the Cape May inlet and made my way over to poverty beach. The waves and swells were huge and some where breaking. I couldn't fish and watch for waves in the fog so I turned around. 6-7 mile round trip. UGH!
I passed my launch point at the Ocean Drive Bridge and tried for Fluke for a bit. Notta! I did catch a couple of 13-15" blues and had a few Herring up to the yak.

| Sounds brutal.
I am heading down the evening of the 9th - 14th. I plan on trying to catch a big boy from the beach and also yakkin the bay quite a bit for the 9 pounders I see posted on the starling site. Geez! Are you and Charlie going to be around any of those days?
Not sure I can fish without you guys, who else will pick up the gear I leave behind?
Let me know. Josh | |

| Of course! Thursday looks good and we are thinking about a Sat sunrise trip out of the Cape May inlet. Depending on the weather, it'll be a Bass/Drum trip or a Bass/Fluke trip.

| Josh and I made it out to do battle with enough grass to sink a Pro Angler. We managed a Fluke, a Bass and a Blue. All small and returned to grow up. All in all a good morning out and the weather was great.
I do have to say that it really is a treat to be on the water during the week with local boaters out on the water. Everyone slowed as they passed and waved hello. What a nice change from the weekend trips. No swamping or sinker throwing.
LUNCHBOX, Josh and I are planning a trip tomorrow morning behind Stone Harbor. Bass in the early am and switching to flatties. Any takers?

| We all caught fish on both Sat and Sun outings. The only keepers were found on Sat tho. Still bouncing around and trying different areas and tides. | |

| Headed out front this morning. Hoping for one of the 50# straggler Black Drum. Also scouting; Weakies, Stripers, Kingfish and Fluke. I'm throwing everything at the wall... let's see what sticks! | |

| We're heading out again this Sat the 25th. Open invite to those interested. Small Bass and Fluke have been pretty steady in the back lately. Charlie managed a couple of keeper Fluke last weekend. I'll be looking to even the score tomorrow! | |
