Hey guys! So we launched yesterday morning around 8:00am at the Ocean Drive Toll Bridge. We launched on the Wildwood side. Parked the truck and carried the boats over the gate and down to the bank. We fished around the back side by the commercial fishing boats. With the wind blowing at 15 to 20mph and the tide ripping in the same direction we were drifting at about 50mph! It was very hard to fish for about an hour! We would drift for 5mins and paddle back for 10mins. My wife got a sand shark and I got a 15" Fluke. We battled our way back over to the other side of the waterway and decided to hang out on the ledge of a sod bank. It was great we could hang out not blow away and fish right off the ledge. Until this damn whale watching boat came by and it's wake pushed us 15' up onto the sod bank. We walked our boat back to the ledge and found a nice piece of wood to tie off to. We fished there for about a half hour. My wife got her first fluke ever and then another, both shorts. I got two more then we worked our way back up to the bridge. By this time the tide and the wind were going in two different directions so we had a perfect drift! It was a great time! thanks for all your help I think my buddy and I are going to hit this again Thursday or Friday!
