I was able to get out early this morning. Dill has a baseball tournament in Georgetown, so I made the early morning trek to Lewes prior to game time with only a 2 hour window to fish. Launched at about 5:30ish to a slack high and no wind or breeze and the glint of a new day just starting to brighten the day. I found breaking bunker within minutes of launching and was tempted to try snagging a few, but I had flounder on my mind.
I made a couple passes near the ferry complex and had no luck, so I moved back towards the fishing pier at the park. and found a couple skates along the way...moon.gif
I guess about 30 minutes after the tide started moving again, I had a real nice take down..ended up with a 23" fluke that almost hit the 5 pound mark on the scale at the pier shop, 4.69 lbs.
