Ocean City 5/31/12

Was planning on going out to Corson's Inlet but hit up Great Egg Harbor Bay. Launched @ Longport bridge and paddled out. Bro in law hooked up with a shark . I hooked up with two sharks 24 in and 29 in, we used clams. Then we paddled back, paddle wasn't to bad it was about 3 miles. Guys have any suggestions on waterproof camera? Don't wanna bring my cell phone out with me on the yak.

I just bought a Nikon S30 ( I think that was what it is called) got it from best buy. I think it was $99.

Mine shoots stills and video. What I like about it is that there is one button for stills and one for video- no fumbling around on the water.

I use a Sanyo xacti. It shoots in true 1080 and is submersible. I have been doing a lot of video stuff lately and it is one tough camera!

Mullet Miller uses a Playsport and it takes nice shots and video too.

Olympus makes some really nice stuff in their Stylus line to check out.

Swann is the new kid on the block and might just crush GoPro. View finder and REMOTE CONTROL make this my next camera!

I also use a go pro hero wide, It is an original version. Takes great wide angle video but sucks a camera. I like the idea of a remote- would be very helpful!

Late to the party again... I use an Olympus Stylus 850, have had it for about 2 maybe 3 years. Takes great pics. Small enough to fit in the pocket of my PFD. I think we paid $125 for it, reconditioned, off eBay. Shoots stills & vid. I'd swear by it. The avatar that the Parson kid uses was taken with it...

Maybe I should start mentioning go pro to wifey so she might buy it for father's day. I'll find out in a couple weeks if it works.
