My apologies for the late post...

Couple of us are gonna meet up at the Bayshore Waterfront Park in Port Monmouth at 6am. I think 6:30 is low tide but the plan is to fish the incoming & if we're not fried from the sun or too tired from the ball bustin' maybe fish a little of the out going...

Any and all are more than welcome to attend!!!

Raritan Bay - Sunday, 10th Empty
PostSubject: Re: Raritan Bay - Sunday, 10th   Raritan Bay - Sunday, 10th EmptyMon Jun 11, 2012 8:36 am

Terrible day for flatties but the blue fish blitzes made up for it!
Fritto Bandito, herder, skipbytes & myself launched around 7 to a flat, pond like Raritan Bay, one without any breeze! (Very strange!) we headed to "the sock" and skip brought 3 blues While Frito boated two... herder put a flattie in the boat but that was it for the first hour or so of the outing... so, we headed to the channel and were greeted with blue mowing down spearing... Oh the carnage! There must have been five of these blitzes, only lasting for 10 minutes or so, although one did last for almost a half hour. Kool schitt! EVERBODY caught! and caught, and caught... it really was nutz! skip managed a keeper flattie as did Frito... Off da water by 1'ish. Great day with great company! I have pics but due to some technical difficulties won't be able to post em for a while...

Just checked the few pics I took and they sucked.
I forgot I had set it to manual the other day when I was taking a bunch of pics of taking apart a reel.
Here is the only one that came out.
It was the first time I saw some pipe fish in a fluke.
