Fished a bridge lightline in the wee hours of the morning last week looking for weakfish. Found some of the best fluke fishing of the season. I've been back on them twice since and they were still there and cooperative. They bite like crazy for an hour or so around high slack, then it ends abruptly. Their spitting up 2-3" spearing, but eating any size/color gulp I send down. Gary and I had 7 keepers to his 21" fish first night. I picked up 8 more keepers next two trips and a nice weaky. Short to keeper ratio an excellent 3:1. Suprised to see so many in the back this late in the season, especially with the chilly evenings. Get a couple for the freezer before it closes this weekend! Big thanks to the fluke magnet for pointing the way.
