Took today off(10-25-10) to take my wife kayak fishing. Fished the train bridge in the manasquan from dead high to about mid tide. Tide stage didn't matter, we found tog at every piece of structure. Hit a few, fishing would slow, move to next piling, repeat. We shared my tandem, which made it a little challenging for both of us to fish, but I had more fun watching her land fish than I would have had fishing anyway(translation-she schooled me). We brought one home for lunch that was awesome in a lemon butter sauce. We let several 14-15" fish go because she was holding out for a slob. No big fish came up, but four buried themselves in the structure and we had to break them off. This area has had solid tog'n for two months now. If anybody wants to come up and fish I'd be happy to share my honey holes, let me know.
