Mullet Miller and I ventured out at 4:30am and fished the bridges and surrounding areas until sunup. Tons of Mullet and all kinds of bait with nothing but 6 inch blues on them. Gnats were a bit nasty in the calm conditions too.
Going to change location somewhat and try again tonight.

Good to hear you guys got out up there! You missed a good time at the tournament but poor fishing after all this flooding. I think you guys made the right call. Hopefully we'll see you next year!

I really wanted to come down and fish the tourney! Having an infant in the house left me with too little time for the trip. I will absolutely be attending next year!!! Events are more about the camaraderie for me and less about catching. I like exploring new areas and species too.
