Fish Factory Great Bay

I fished the flood last night, lots of bait esp needle fish. Snappers. Water temp 72-73, a post card full moon night, no runs hits or errors.

Nice to hear you got out. Things are the same down this way. Once the Mullet start to pour out, things will change in a hurry!

I rode with Barrel on a engine break-in yesterday. Tuckerton Creek, Roses Cove, LBI, Holgate, the Brick pile. Looks like some (A few) weakfish are in the back a half dozen boats were shrimping, saw some Mercurochrome jigs out, marked fish here and there in the holes. Bait is wide spread, not schooled, water in the 72 +/_ range, visibility 3-4 ft, weed is not breaking up yet. I will fish 12-24 hours after the cold snap, just for fun and to watch the bait start schooling and maybe get some bait on salt for later. Got a report from Long Island NY....no action yet. Tuckerton Decoy show this weekend, will be there at the Methodist food booth.
