THIS YEAR IS A 2 DAY EVENT ,, JULY 20 AND 21,, FLUKE ONLY ,, NO OTHER EVENTS WITH THIS ,, JUST FLUKE ,, 1ST , 2ND , AND 3RD PLACE FOR LARGEST INDIVIDUAL FLUKE. ALSO A CALCUTTA FOR LARGEST FLUKE AND 3 LARGEST COMBINED , SAT ONLY , MORE INFO LATER ON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE

So who's fishin' this gig? Any newbie's gonna give it a try? I ask because I've never done anything like this and I'm looking to hook up with someone that knows the ropes or someone else thats new to this so we can figure it out together...

Squid lips there are plenty of guys fishing this tournament that would be happy to allow you to tag along. If you need a fishing buddy I'll be launching in point pleasant at the rt 35 train bridge on friday and saturday morning. You are more then welcome to join me.

Fishing was decent this year, never a mad dog bite but a slow pick over 3 days still adds up to some fish. Definately had fun fishing with everyone, some real characters out there! Enjoyed so many clams at the banquet, my table started looking like an oyster bar.
Charlie, thanks for your time to help make it happen, and also for your discretion on my lack of proper attire.
3 days of fishing this year, sunday added to make up for the horrid conditions on friday. In spite of the small craft advisory with gusts over 30 mph, friday was my best day. If you could keep your drift speed under 5 knots or so, there were fish to be had lol. Cant wait til next year.
