NEKF 2012!!!

I wanted to give a heads up that the NEKF Striper Shootout is again being scheduled for the third weekend of August, the 17th – 19th. NEKF is not yet prepared to be taking entries BUT there is the matter of camping.

NEKF is reserving all of the tent camping sites at the Shootout’s headquarters of Winter Island in Salem, MA for Friday and Saturday nights the 17th & 18th. Within a week or two I will be prepared to begin taking reservations for tent camping for those two evenings. As soon as we are ready to take the tent camping reservations, I will post a separate announcement thread here and other sites to try to facilitate no one missing an opportunity.

RV camping is the responsibility of the individual campers. Winter Island has already begun taking RV reservations. If that is the way you want to go please contact the Winter Island Campground at 978-745-9430.

I'd love to stop by Herder but it ain't looking good. All the campsites are booked up. Too bad, it looked like a good time. I might check out some other campsites nearby, but thats getting too complicated...lol
Sounds like a cool place though, maybe I'll just go the week before or after just to check it out.
