I had a blast again this year! I saw some friends I see too little of, and
fishing Jbay is always an adventure and a challenge. Charlie and I met a
lot of new friends in tent town and put a lot of faces to screen names.
Thank you to Joey, Capt. Jerry, George, and the entire staff at Captain Kayak
for another great year! The event hit it's max at 350 Kayakers!!!
Dan, Hank, and John, we had a ball. Yes, Wayne can cook the hell outta bass.
Thank you guys for a great time and the burgers. It was like a weekend long
roast over in our corner of the lot. Busting chops all day and night! I'm looking
forward to giving the sweet water a try up your way soon.
Weather or not, this is one hell of an event for a great cause. Great job Dee,
Jose, Judy and everyone from Casting for Recovery!
The Wolfpack Raffle looked to be a HUGE success again this year as well.
Frank Palowski was the lucky winner of the Box-O-Lures. Congrats Frank!
The Wolfpack managed to raise $915.00 for Casting for Recovery! Awesome!
We are going to continue sign-ups for the Nor'east Challenge as the weather
really did a number on us at sign-up. Info will be up on the site soon at
www.eckfs.com or you can email me at
sj.fish.whisperer@gmail.comOnce all of the facts and pics are in I will have a better report. The event was
pushed to the Sunday rain date due to a small craft advisory being called on
Saturday morning. Charlie and are weren't able to stay the whole day on Sunday,
so we packed up and rolled out on Saturday afternoon.
For me, the event is catching up with friends and having a great time. With that in
mind, we didn't miss a thing.
Congrats to Ocean Kayak Teams', Mark Nelson for winning the Open Division!!!!!
